Livestream Project

Brand Personalization Live is a beta project that is livestreaming amongst many networks and soon to be available virtually everywhere.  The show is restreaming to an expanse of networks.

The show is still in beta still in beta, “we’re learning as we go””.

The show starts with some prepared questions and the viewer is able to ask any questions that might arise.  Any queries internet related are welcome.

Brand Personalization Live goes live Monday to Friday at 4:00est/7:00pst.  That happens to be peak usage time so the live shows may be a little choppy but the recordings will be more polished we are told by the host.

During shows you can interact with the host through Facebook.

Brand Personalization is doing a live show Monday through Friday to answer internet/SEO related questions.
The Livestream is shot in HD and restreamed through Justin.tv and ustream. Recordings of the live show run continuously on all three channels.

The innovative nature of this project will allow for greater exposure amongst broadcasting networks.

Ask and You Shall Recieve

Through research I have come to understand the universe will, in fact, yield to your will. Since realizing this I have put together in my mind a sequence of events that turned out to be a hope I expressed years ago.

In my late twenties I was more concerned with raising my kids than having a full time job.

During school hours I would often watch “What Not To Wear” on TLC and dream of one day owning clothes that didn’t have previous owners.  Times were tough and when it came to a choice of new clothes or paying bills, the bills took precedence.

I told the family that I wanted to be on that show. We’d all chuckle because none of us are the high maintenance Hollywood Types.  A new pair of jeans and we’re happier than a pig in shit, we dress up once or twice a year.  The point is they didn’t take me seriously.

FFWD 5 or 6 years

My oldest daughter was living in a complex where a lady lived that owned a 9 year old lab.  I was warned to keep our dogs away from her dog.  I felt a spark of excitement when I found out he had a fear of other dogs because of things that happened in the past.

Right away I introduced myself and told her I wanted to get the dogs together one day.

“Oh that will never happen” she was so sure.

 

Within a couple of weeks we were strolling along the river with her dog and my three.  She was overcome with gratitude and assured me that a good deed  doesn’t go unnoticed.  I was just happy to make a new friend that had a dog.  She went as far as to say that I was like Ceasar Milan, The Dog Whisperer, to her.

In the past months she had the chance to go shopping and called me over to her place.  She had bags and bags of brand new, stylish clothes that apparently didn’t fit her or she decided she didn’t like.

So it came to be that I got what I wanted because I announced it and let the future events play out and allowing the wish to be granted.

Marmaduke

Marmaduke  was a beloved Great Dane character in a classic comic strip by Brad Anderson.  The Marmaduke comic strip (appearing in 600 newspapers in over 20 countries) seems to incredible to be true.  Can a huge dog really be that much fun and so loveable?

YES!

Life suddenly shifts and will begin to revolve around your big dog.   You will have motivation to remove objects from tail height ledges to avoid the inevitable messes that will occur.

Great Danes will make their presence known, usually in a respectful manner at first.  Logistically speaking and as pointed out in the comic illustration above, the dogs are big enough to get whatever they want.

The trick is to convince them that they want to make you happy.

 

Marmaduke

This movie is not as far-fetched as it may seem nor is it as bad as you might think.

They drool a bit but the worst is when they take a drink, walk to their people and shake.  Lips flap every which way gaining momentum with each shake of their head. The moment comes when the suspended strand of saliva breaks free from the dog.   Sometimes you will have time to get out of the way of this soaring spit bomb but not always.

They do get gassy if you change up their diet or feed poor quality food.

They have a short life span.  Eight years is the average life of a Marmaduke Dog.  On average it will be the best eight years of your life.

RIP Molson

On December 27, 2011 our seven year old male Great Dane Molson suffered bloat.  A condition where the intestines basically flip. Bloat is an unfortunate affliction that most often ends in death and is most common in deep chested dogs.

 

We were getting vaccinations for our 1 year old Great Dane boy and visiting with our friends who had another litter of Dane pups.  They were 9 weeks old with strong genes, we were very familiar with the lineage.

Without discussion my husband and I had already decided which one we would take home.  We had no intentions of bringing another dog home until we saw this handsome boy.

I had fun with Molson even when there was no fun to be had.  All I had to do was jump.  I didn’t want him to be jumping on people but it was okay if he jumped at the same time I did – as long as he didn’t touch me.  That is how we dealt with excitement, rather than acting neurotic he jumped with me and would occasionally spin without missing a jump.

Molson would thump his tail on the laminate floor when I walked into the room, talked to him, or even just smiled at him.

He is survived by his older (full) brother, Torque, and his younger Boxer sister, Pepsi.   For the last 5 years those three characters have been the animal equivalent of The 3 Stooges.

Torque and Pepsi continue to thrive in our animal friendly home.
